Today's reading is Matthew 27:2-32; Mark 15:1-22; Luke 23:3-31; John 18:28-19:17. The exchange between Jesus and Pilate is so powerful. Pilate urges Jesus to answer or defend himself, because he, Pilate, has the power of life or death over him. Jesus reply is perfect.
