Second Letter to the Corinthians, Tuesday, December 4, 2012

Today's reading is II Corinthians 1:1-9:15.  This letter was delivered to the Corinthians by Titus when he was sent to collect the pledge made by them to the needy in Judea.  Paul speaks of the extreme pressure he and Timothy had felt in Asia.  They feared for their lives in order that they would rely on God rather than themselves.
