Today's reading is selected verses in chapters 21, 23, and 34 of Isaiah; II Kings 16 and 18; and II Chronicles 28, 29. Ahaz is corrupt in all his worship. He sacrifices to the gods of Aram. When he dies, his son Hezekiah begins his 29-year reign at the age of 25. He begins by breaking the bronze snake.
