Reading of the Law, Thursday, October 11, 2012

Today's reading is Nehemiah 8-11.  The people's response to hearing the law was intense mourning and shame.  The same text was read again a short time later and resulted in confession of sin.  So far, so good.  The staying power of their faith was not so admirable.
